Creative ClassesTNT Embroidablock of the Month: (Coming in September!)
Join us for Hoopsisters Embroidablock of the Month. We have combined forces with Hoopsisters to offer their unique Embroidablock of the Month program. The quilt for 2010 is entitled. "TNT, Textures and Techniques" and is absolutely exquisite! Their technique of combining embroidery with piecing and quilting is extraordinary.
Last year's quilt, Crazy Compass, was a huge hit. People all over the country participated in the program and we are happy to announce our participation in this year's program.
We will be meeting once a month for 10 months. The first nine months you will be stitching four blocks each month. The tenth month we will teach you Hoopsister's unique joining technique.

  Tossed Nine-Patch: Dates to be announced for Fall. Call if you are interested in this class.
Make an easy nine patch block then the fun begins! Come to class to see what happens next. Magically the quilt comes alive and doesn’t look like a nine patch anymore. You will need all three sessions to complete your quilt. Cost: $ 30 plus supplies.
This is how it works: It’s a two-part program. Part One: The Cutting Workshop—You must participate in a Cutting Workshop before you can create quilts in Part Two. You may come to a Workshop at any of the times listed above for Scrap Therapy. You will bring your own scraps, 1/4 yd. or smaller to cut into squares. All you’ll need is your scraps, sharp rotary cutter, rulers, and mat! Part Two: Scrap Therapy Sessions—You will take your rediscovered fabrics and start quilting using Scrap Therapy Patterns. You will be excited to see new quilts created from your buried treasures! NOTE: You will need to bring your sewing machine for Part Two. Debbie’s Purse A Month Class: These classes may be offered again in the Fall. Please call and let us know if you are interested! Who needs Vera when you’ve got Debbie? Nobody knows purses like she does. Join the fun as a new class begins! Each month a different purse pattern will be featured. Come every month, or pick and choose. This is a Hands-on Class, so you’ll need your machine. Sign up early, some prep is needed before each class. Each Class Cost: $ 15 plus supplies.
Finally, Pants that Fit! Taught by Pam Stockwell. Please call if you are interested in taking this class. As a certified Silhouette Pattern Instructor, Pam will personally help you adjust your pattern to fit your figure. You will make your fitting shell prior to class and then you will be personally fitted in class. After the fittings are complete, you’ll learn the basic style changes and how to apply what you’ve learned to other patterns. This will be an all day seminar with a lunch break. Supply List: Silhouette Pattern #3200 (available from Jeanette’s $ 14.00), pins, scissors, French curve (optional). Class cost: $ 65.00. Class is limited to 4 people so sign up early!
Aunt Philly’s Toothbrush Rug: We will be teaching the techniques for the oval rug. These rugs are pretty, washable, and durable. You will need to sign up early; some advance preparation is required. Cost: $ 15.00 plus supplies.
The X Block Quilt This class will also be offered again in the Fall. Call and let us know if you'd like to sign up.
Unlimited design possibilities with the X Block tool and patterns! The pattern uses strips and becomes a quilt made of fast and easy triangles. Class Cost: $ 30.00 plus pattern, tool, and supplies.
